The Center of Excellence in Bangalore, India, is providing multiple services to projects as well as advancing EXA AG’s own software solutions with and around SAP. Since 2021 EXA AG is part of SNP Group and we have been jointly running and leveraging the Center of Excellence.

Global migration projects from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA are made possible using a green-, brown- or bluefield® approach enabled by SNP’s tools such as KYANO and crystal bridge.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our Global Value Chain (GVC) team. The candidate should possess strong functional expertise across all SAP FICO and submodules, hands-on S/4HANA experience, solid understanding of integration touchpoints, and enthusiasm for product development and continuous upskilling.

This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, delivering high-quality solutions, supporting enhancements, and contributing to the growth of our GVC product offerings.

Key Responsibilities

SAP FICO Functional Expertise

Strong hands-on experience across all major SAP FICO modules, including:
- FI (Financial Accounting)
- CO (Controlling) including:
  - Cost Center Accounting
  - Cost Element Accounting
  - COPA (Profitability Analysis)
  - Material Ledger / Actual Costing
Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), including vendor and customer processes.

S/4HANA Functional Experience

Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA Finance functionalities, new GL concepts, and universal journal architecture.
Experience with S/4HANA-specific features such as Material Ledger activation, COPA enhancements, and real-time reporting.

Integration Expertise

Strong knowledge of FI integration with MM and SD, including:
- Material movements
- Intercompany (I/C) material transactions
- Goods issues & consumptions
- Inventory valuation
- Automatic account determination
Ability to analyse and troubleshoot cross-module issues.

Custom Development & Enhancements

Experience working with technical teams on:
- Functional specifications
- Custom developments
- Enhancements (user exits, BADIs, custom reports, interfaces, workflows)
- Testing and validation of custom solutions

Product Development Contribution

Contribute to the design, enhancement, and functional roadmap of GVC-related products.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across finance and supply chain integration.

Upskilling & Knowledge Expansion

Strong interest in continuous learning and hands-on upskilling, particularly with:
- GVC product functionalities
- Latest S/4HANA features
- Advanced controlling capabilities
- Finance automation and process optimization

Required Skills & Experience

6+ years of SAP FICO consulting experience.
Proven expertise in FI, CO, and S/4HANA Finance.
Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes across Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Supply Chain.
Experience in blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, and support activities.
Analytical problem-solving mindset with ability to troubleshoot complex cross-module scenarios.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

SAP FI/CO certification (optional but preferred).
Experience working in product-based environments or solution-building teams.
Exposure to GVC, supply chain integrations, or financial automation tools.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
