The Center of Excellence in Bangalore, India, is providing multiple services to projects as well as advancing EXA AG’s own software solutions with and around SAP. Since 2021 EXA AG is part of SNP Group and we have been jointly running and leveraging the Center of Excellence.
Global migration projects from SAP ECC to S/4 HANA are made possible using a green-, brown- or bluefield® approach enabled by SNP’s tools such as KYANO and crystal bridge.
Job Overview
We want to continue to grow and are looking for team members for our Center of Excellence in Bangalore who have fresh ideas, a lot of curiosity and ambition to join us Finance Solution Architect and work with us on valuable solutions for a globally sustainable world.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of SAP transformation solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals and SNP best practices.
- Provide end-to-end expertise in SAP FI/CO modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling (including Material Ledger and Actual Costing).
- Support technical team in solution building, testing and validations.
- Implement and optimize NewGL features, including document splitting and parallel ledger accounting.
- Lead Account to Ledger adoption and currency conversion strategies during SAP transformations.
- Develop technical specifications for solution such as which table and field is expected to be transformed mentioning relevant data transformation rules.
- Manage and optimize data migration strategies for SAP transformations using SNP’s BLUEFIELD™ approach.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure seamless SAP implementation and migration projects.
- Engage directly with clients to gather requirements, provide strategic guidance, and present finance solutions effectively in data transformation blueprint.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members and act as a technical advisor for SAP Finance-related topics.
- Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA innovations, tools, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
- S/4 HANA conversion (FINS_MIG_STATUS) experience
- Thorough understanding of difference between SAP ECC on Classic GL vs S/4 HANA and SAP ECC on NewGL vs S/4 HANA brownfield conversion.
- Deep understanding of key SAP FI/CO tables, including BKPF, ACDOCA, BSEG, FAGLFLEXA, FAGLFLEXT, and COSP/COSS for reporting and data management.
- Knowhow of ABAP analysing and debugging.
- Familiarity with integration points across SAP modules, especially with NewGL configurations and data structures.
- Experience in data migration tools such as LSMW/LTMC/MC
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO) with expertise in financial processes and reporting.
- Proven experience in NewGL adoption projects.
- Hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA migrations and greenfield/brownfield implementations.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with a proactive approach to delivering client-centric solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language.
Preferred Skills
- SAP certification in FI/CO or S/4HANA Finance.
- Experience with cloud-based SAP deployments.
- Familiarity with SNP Transformation Suite or similar transformation tools is a plus.
