Your Role
Are you a consultant who is knowledgeable about business processes and are able to understand data migration based on rules? You should be able to check the technical setup/data of SAP tables and table links and create test cases that match and can test positive/negative. The control data is migrated from SNP.
Your Profile
Ideally in-depth knowledge, and skills in the following:
- Understanding of SAP tables and table linkage
- Understanding of SAP Report/Variant Build/Run (Tcode SE38, SA38)
- Ability to understand issue logs for background logs (example paging issue…)
- Ability to run and understand tcode SQVI
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to build and tweak testing cases from blueprint to go live – as scope change (which table or tcode based)
- Ability to review issue from table linkage perspective (based on scope) to confirm if there is an issue (using were used actions)
- Ability to communicate effectively issue found to business team
- Nice to have: Ability to read and write ABAP and SQL code/programs
